Services and work formats at Villa Mariolu

The winery offers guided tours, tastings, and harvest experiences, as well as advice for organizing private events among the vineyards. Each proposal is tailored to the group, the time of year, and what is available at the winery at that moment.

Frequently asked questions about the service

These are the questions we receive most often by phone or through the contact form. If you can't find the answer, write to us and we'll get back to you shortly.

How is a visit to the winery arranged?

Visits are booked in advance by phone or email. We work with small groups so the tour is relaxed and you can talk with the team. We confirm the time and format when booking, and during peak season it's best to give several days' notice.

Do you offer tastings for beginners?

Yes. The guided tasting is designed for those just starting to explore wine. We explain what to look for in the glass, how to read a label, and why each varietal behaves differently. No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to taste and ask questions.

Can I buy wine directly at the winery?

Of course. After the tour, you can buy wine in the sales room. We work with the current vintage and some special editions that aren't released to the general market. We accept cash and bank transfer, and we can arrange shipping if you can't take it with you at the time.

Do you organize private events or corporate meetings?

Yes, we host groups for lunches, presentations, and celebrations. The space is adapted based on the number of people and the type of event. For these occasions, we put together a pairing menu with the local kitchen and set the tour schedule with the organizer.

If your question is about shipping, invoicing, or purchase terms, visit the contact page and we'll help you with the specific issue.

What we can do for your winery

We don't sell generic recipes. We work with wineries and vineyards across Argentina that need to streamline their operations, improve communication with their customers, or give shape to an idea that has been brewing for a while. These are the concrete tasks we take on.

Diagnosis of your current operations

Before touching any process, we review how your winery works today: from receiving grapes at the gate to shipping boxes for distribution. We put together a simple map of what's done well, what gets lost along the way, and what should be changed first. You don't need to have everything documented; often the knowledge lives in the heads of two or three people and needs to be put down on paper.

Organizing documentation

Harvest records, temperature controls, lab analyses, lot traceability. All of that is usually scattered across loose spreadsheets, notebooks, or files that no one can find when they need them. We organize it into a simple system your team can use without lengthy training. The idea is that information is there when you look for it, not that it becomes another bureaucratic chore.

Communication with clients and visitors

If you host visitors at the winery, sell online, or work with distributors, communication is part of the product. We help you draft emails, put together wine fact sheets that explain each label well, and answer frequently asked questions without you having to repeat the same thing twenty times a week. We can also prepare the copy for your website or a printed catalog.

Season planning

Harvest, pruning, ripeness analyses, shipping dates. Each season has its own deadlines, and none of them wait. We build a realistic calendar with responsible parties, deadlines, and checkpoints, so important decisions aren't made on the fly. If you already have a plan, we review it and adjust it to what actually happens in the field.

Support on specific decisions

Sometimes you don't need a big project. A question about how to present a new wine, what information to include on a technical data sheet, or how to respond to a client asking about payment methods. These are small things, but they eat up time. We respond with judgment and industry knowledge, not with canned answers.

Every job starts with an honest conversation about what you need and what we can do. If you want to see how we approach larger projects, check out the solutions section or look at the details of our capabilities.
