The winery is in Sarandí, about twenty minutes from the city center. By car, take the Buenos Aires–La Plata Highway and exit at Sarandí; the trip is direct and there is parking on the premises. You can also take the train to Sarandí station and then a taxi that drops you off at the door. If you're coming as a group, let us know in advance and we'll arrange transportation.
Yes, tours are held Wednesday through Sunday in three shifts: at 11 a.m., 3 p.m., and 5 p.m. Each tour lasts approximately an hour and a half and includes a walk through the vineyards, the production room, and the cellar. During harvest season, between February and April, we add an extra shift at 9 a.m. so you can see the harvest in full swing.
Of course. We have a sales room where you can taste and take home our labels. We work with malbec, cabernet franc, and a house blend that isn't available in stores. If you want a large order for an event or as a gift, let us know a week in advance and we'll have it ready with your name on it.
Yes, we welcome groups of up to forty people. For birthdays, work meetings, or family celebrations, we put together a tasting menu with empanadas, a cheese board, and a cut of barbecue if the group requests it. The reservation is confirmed with a deposit and arranged by phone at +54 9 11 3251 7398.
The tour adapts: we go through the production room and the cellar, which are covered, and leave the vineyard walk for the end if the weather allows. In the event of a severe storm, we reschedule your slot at no charge or refund the ticket price. You don't need to call—we'll notify you by email.
To learn about the purchase terms and the use of the data you leave when booking, you can read our privacy policy. If you'd rather speak with someone, write to us at info@villamariolu.com or stop by the winery at 667 General O'Higgins, Sarandí.
If after reading the answers you still have any questions, write to us or call us. We prefer to handle an inquiry calmly rather than have you leave with a half-asked question.
We are available Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM, and Saturdays from 10 AM to 2 PM. Outside those hours, we leave the answering machine on and return the call the next business day.
If you prefer to write, email is the fastest channel. For urgent matters, the phone is usually better: sometimes a two-minute conversation resolves what an exchange of messages cannot achieve in a day.
At Villa Mariolu, we prefer things to be clear from the start. That's why this section brings together the definitions and conditions that usually raise questions. If after reading it you still have any questions, write to us and we'll be happy to answer.
When we talk about "our wines," we refer to the labels we produce at our winery, made with grapes from our own vineyards. Visits and tastings are carried out only with prior reservation, and hours may vary depending on the season. As for shipping, we work with a logistics service that covers the entire Argentine territory; delivery time depends on the province and is confirmed at the time of placing the order.
