The first review of the site made it clear that the problem was not the content, but how it was organized. Visitors arrived at the homepage and did not understand whether Villa Mariolu was a winery, a country house, or a tourism service. That confusion was resolved with a simpler structure, but the work did not end there.
During the following weeks, we adjusted the texts in each section, reduced generic promises, and let concrete details speak for themselves. The most notable change was on the contact page: now the phone number and direct email appear, without intermediate forms that delayed responses. The service descriptions were also rewritten so that each one explains a specific benefit, not a list of features.
What follows is a summary of what was changed and why. It is not an exhaustive list, but it does reflect the decisions that had the most impact on the actual use of the site.
The first was navigation. Previously there were six links in the main menu, now there are four, and the rest were moved to the footer. This reduced the number of clicks needed to reach basic information, such as visiting hours or the exact address.
The second was the tone of the texts. Phrases like "unique experience" or "quality service" were removed and replaced with verifiable descriptions: we mentioned the number of hectares, the type of soil, and the tour duration. Visitors who write with inquiries now arrive with more specific questions, which makes responding easier.
The third was the frequently asked questions page. It was reorganized by topic, and short answers of no more than three lines were added. Repeated email inquiries dropped noticeably, freeing up time to handle reservation requests.
Two things remain: the English version of the site and a section with photographs of the property taken during the last harvest. Both are planned for the next quarter, but we do not want to rush them if that means lowering the quality of the content.
